My career began at RES4: young & energetic at a busy small firm, I gained experience in all phases of architectural design on a range of projects, with selected work shown here. Here I also learned a deep appreciation for the intricacies of domestic space, both rural & urban - the unique site & personality each client brings to the creation of a home, a universal & fundamental building type with infinite potential. Homes embody our sense of identity, imagination & creative aspiration in the most immediate way, and the inherent variety will never fail to captivate. I also enjoyed the challenge of working in existing buildings, and of balancing a work load that included half a dozen different projects plus office promotional material on any given week
